Who Should Attend

Operators of small and medium-size networks, system administrators in companies, ISPs.

Prerequisites

A basic knowledge of the administration of Linux systems and Linux-based networks is required. This means that the participant should be familiar with the runlevel concept in SuSE Linux Enterprise Server, know how to use a text editor (e.g. vi), and be able to configure a network in Linux.

What you will learn

The participants learn to configure and monitor the Apache web server, the Squid proxy server, and the PureFTPd FTP server.
