Prerequisites

The participants are required to have a good understanding of the installation, configuration and administration of a machine and peripherals in SuSE Linux Enterprise Server.

What you will learn

The participants are introduced to the basics of network administration with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server. Apart from providing information on the structure and setup of a network, the course teaches how to configure network interfaces and how to set routes. Various ways to start services (inetd, xinetd, TCP wrapper) and diagnostic tools are covered.
