Who Should Attend
This course is intended for software developers, administrators,
and other users who want to acquire basic shell programming
skills.
Prerequisites
A good understanding of the main commands and user applications
in Linux and the Linux system administration.
What you will learn
The participants gain a solid basic understanding of
shell constructs and concepts. They learn to create their
own shell scripts, understand existing scripts, and adapt
these to new requirements. The understanding of the basic
shell constructs facilitates the accustomation to other
shell variants (e.g. Korn or C shell).
