SuSE Linux Enterprise Server: SuSE Linux For Users
Participants will gain a basic understanding of the Linux Operating System. They will learn to use and configure the graphical desktop environment KDE. Basic system utilities for daily tasks such as finding files and managing processes are introduced. The course also touches on applications for text processing (OpenOffice.org, Koffice), email managements (Kmail), and web browsing (Netscape, Konquer).

Who Should Attend

    The course is designed for users who have some experience with the use of another operating system and who want to utilize the possibilities of the Linux operating system for their daily work.

Prerequisites

    Experience with Microsoft or UNIX desktop systems.
